To be honest, I never saw what happened between Mary and Pamuk as rape…and I was surprised when I found that most part of fandom thought this…because I don’t think that was what that scene was about at all.
Part VII
Lying on the bed he was sure to have dozed off at some point or another. He only re-opened his eyes when Davos entered the room. “My Lord, I thought you had gone with Lord Robert and Lord of Grantham”
Part VI
Stannis looked around. No one was coming so he simply manovered her into the bedroom and sat her on the bed. He searched his pockets for a handkerchief. “Take it” He said as softly as he could, keeping the scowl away from his face. How he did find himself into this situation was still beyond his comprehension. He closed the door and stared at her knowing it was her turn so say something.
Part V
Mary wisely locked herself in her room claiming to be too tired to attend dinner. The events of the day had taken its toll on her – and on her foot – and even Dr. Clarkson had recommended rest. Anna brought her tea and then a light meal and every time remarked upon the quietness of her mistress.
Part IV
If Mary had been asked to remember what happened in the rest of the afternoon she would simply blush deeply and avert her eyes. In years to come she was certain the embarrassment would be remembered and they would never talk about it again. And she wasn’t able to face him, to look at him in the eye for the following days.
Because I love hoflords’ Downton Abbey/GOT fic : )
OH MY GOD THIS IS AWESOME THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU’RE AWESOME. AWESOME.
I love the second where he’s like “Mary why are you sulking AGAIN?”
Part III
Stannis had started to wonder when it would be proper for him to retire to his bedchamber when Edith approached him with a glass. “It’s ice tea. I know you don’t drink”. She said quietly and he took it surprised at the gesture “I find it quite refreshing on these summer nights”
Part II
Stannis diverted his eyes from the expecting group to see where Davos was. Indeed another man slightly older than his master and with more beard got out of the car while Stannis slowed his step ever so slightly. Robert smiled a little and extended his hand. Stannis’s handshake was as the man himself: strong, firm, unmoving.
Ignores some of the events of Christmas Special. And I actually like Carlisle. So sorry.
Summer of 1519
The Earl of Grantham awoke that morning with a smile, feeling the effects of an exceptional good night sleep. It was the first time he smiled after Bates’s trial. He was dressed by Thomas and headed down to breakfast where Mary, Edith and Cora were already expecting him. He sat down and Carson served him and he saw with satisfaction his toast covered by his favourite cherry jam. Cora passed him the newspaper.
And because of this post I made this. I think Black and White is a good title for…whatever this is.
